Our History
Since the 1970s, the Mahon family has grown Dentaltech from a small Templeogue clinic and lab into one of Ireland's most trusted dental partners. As a second-generation business, we combine over 50 years of experience with a drive to deliver the finest lab work available today.

Our Journey
Passion and Persistence
After 26 years as a senior dental technician in the Dublin Dental School, Trinity College, Brian Mahon and his wife, Mary, built a dental laboratory and denture repair clinic in Templeogue. Built on exceptional craftsmanship and strong relationships with local dentists, the business officially incorporated in 1993.
The Second Generation
Daughter Bevin Mahon joined the family business to implement a new computerised accounting system. Recognising the lab's immense potential, she took charge of business development, driving sales and setting the stage for major expansion. She is now the Owner and CEO.
Formal Split into Two Divisions
The business officially formed two complementary divisions: Dentaltech Laboratory (manufacturing for dental professionals) and Dentaltech Group (a network of clinics serving patients directly).
Pioneering Mobile Dentistry
The same standards that let our lab supply over 250 practices also power Dentaltech Group's own nationwide clinics, including Ireland's largest portable dentistry service — evidence of the manufacturing quality behind every case we produce for our dentist clients.
Embracing 3D Technology
To keep up with modern demands, the lab heavily invested in digital dentistry. By transitioning to state-of-the-art intraoral 3D scanning and 3D printing, Dentaltech significantly improved manufacturing precision and drastically reduced turnaround times.
An Award-Winning Enterprise
What began in a converted extension now employs more than 40 people in Ireland and around the world. The Terenure-based lab manufactures premium restorations and appliances for over 250 dentists nationwide and across the UK, and the company has been named an All-Ireland Business All-Star for eight consecutive years. This manufacturing strength is also what has powered the growth of Dentaltech Group's own clinics nationwide.
